Mike Arians states, “Its time to ask yourself, as a resident or business owner, are we better off now than we were eight years ago? If your answer is ‘No’ I would cherish having my job as mayor of Oregon back so I can finish many of the programs that I began. My focus will include repealing the recently imposed city utility tax, financial relief for our seniors on fixed incomes, special considerations for our existing businesses, real estate sales and tourism incentives, strengthening cooperation with both the Oregon Chamber of Commerce and the Park District, all while working closely with our major employers such as Etnyre and Woods to keep in tune with their needs. Our town is a wonderful place and does not need to be reinvented, it just needs a little house keeping.”
